Kid's Surf Camps

Surf Academy’s kids surf camps are for ages 9 – 17. Give your Wahine (Hawaiian for Girl) or Kanaka (Hawaiian for Boy) the chance to learn ocean surf sports from an energetic and well-trained safety minded staff. Our instructors include champion surfers, lifeguards and moms. Your child will love the personalized attention that our low student-to-instructor ratio provides, and you will love the peace of mind knowing that safety is priority. Surf Academy Surf sports include surfing, ocean swimming, paddling, bodyboarding, body surfing, beach games, and ocean safety. Campers are provided with all the equipment required including, soft surfboards, wetsuits and colorful rash guards to identify them as part of our program.

Surf Academy runs kids surf camps in three location: El Segundo at Pratte’s Reef, Santa Monica at Ocean Park and Huntington Beach at Seapoint. All locations are run with the same safety standards and proven teaching methods.

You can now register online for the El Segundo camp. For the other camps, download the registration forms below and return to the address on the form. Signup early as classes fill up fast.

Surf Academy partners with both the City of Huntington Beach and the City of Santa Monica to run these safe and fun summer surf camps for. Here is what we offer:

El Segundo - Pratte's Reef

Due to construction at this site for the 2010 summer, the summer program is suspended.
Please consider Santa Monica or Huntington Beach for camps.

Surf Academy also offers private surf lessons at Marine Street in Manhattan Beach 7 days a week. You can arrange a discount for a week-long package of lessons for a small group of friends or family. Call the office 424-903-9500.
