Semi-Private surf lessons are for you to create your own private lesson with a friend or friends (a maximum of 4 people). Surf Academy does not create or match people into semi-private groups. Your group gets the undivided attention of your very own, dedicated surf instructor. This is a very successful, cost effective way to learn quickly. You lesson can be tailored to your exact needs depending on the level of your surfing skills.

Semi-Private surf lessons are 1-1/4 hours in length and are taught year round, conditions providing. All equipment is included in your lesson. You need to bring a swimsuit, beach towel and sunscreen.

A single semi-private lesson is $65 per person. You can purchase a discounted series of 3 semi-private lessons for $180 per person. Our private and semi private surf lessons are all custom scheduled and reserved in advance. We can book whatever day, time and location you wish. You simply need to submit a registration form either on-line or by fax or mail. When we receive the information, we process and send a confirmation via email. If for any reason we cannot confirm your exact request, you will be contacted with options before your lesson is confirmed. Surf Lesson FAQ

Now you can register, pay and schedule your private surf lesson on-line on our secure site. The on-line scheduling is simple and efficient as you see months of available lessons and instructors at a glance. After you register/pay/schedule, you will be emailed a receipt, confirmation and directions to your lesson or lessons. If you purchase a series you are assigned an account, and you are free to schedule your series on-line as you know your availability.

You can download a registration form and fax or mail to Surf Academy to be processed. Download the application form.

Policies:

Lessons purchased in 2007 are good for the entire 2007 surf season. Lessons do not carry over year to year. You may reschedule your lessons 24 hours in advance. If you fail to show up or reschedule the lesson is forfeited.

Private lessons can be rescheduled, transfered, but not refunded. If you cannot use your lesson, pass it on to someone who can! If Surf Academy has cancelled your lesson and recheduling is not an option, a refund will be issued.

Cancellations:

Surf Academy is obligated to cancel surf lessons when dangerous conditions are present. Dangerous conditions consist of heavy surf, extreme tides, extreme weather, rain and pollution from rain run off.

If Surf Academy has to cancel a scheduled lesson, you will be issued a credit for a replacement lessons to be scheduled at your convenience.
